Our Community Service Committee has........
Adopted a Family for Christmas !
This is a local family with four children, two teens (boy and girl) and two middle school age (boy and girl).
Most of us make a list for our parents and receive most of what we want. This may be the ONLY gifts these kids receive this year.
OUR PLAN:
Collect at least $5.00 from each teen next week at our meeting (Dec. 16) With the money collected, some of our teens will purchase some of the things on their Christmas list.
Also......
Gifts Certificates from any of the following stores:
Kohl's Target Bed Bath & Beyond Barnes & Noble
Applebees (so they can go enjoy a family dinner)
I know it is tough for some of your families too........but perhaps you can give up something on your list to help out these kids who may ONLY be getting this .
